Another way to join in helping keep sheep on the mountain is to make a donation.
OUR MISSION IN ACTION
RMBS collaborates with numerous Federal and State agencies
RMBS collaborates with numerous federal and state agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private organizations to further bighorn sheep conservation, research, and hunting opportunities.
WIN BIG AND GIVE BACK TO BIGHORN SHEEP
Amazing hunting adventures, outdoor gear, Swarovski optics, fantastic rifles and more! Proceeds of raffles and auctions go directly to conservation efforts to keep bighorns on the mountain.
COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR BIGHORN SHEEP HEALTH
The greatest threat to bighorn sheep is close association with domestic sheep and goats, which threatens transmission of pathogens that cause respiratory disease in wild sheep. RMBS tackles this issue by working with livestock producers, federal agencies, and local governments to create effective separation between wild and domestic sheep.
INTERESTED IN CONSERVING POPULATIONS AND HABITAT FOR BIGHORN SHEEP?
RMBS links state agencies and volunteers to help with sheep monitoring, population counts, research projects, trapping and handling sheep and public education.
LEADERSHIP DEDICATED TO CONSERVATION
The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society board members are elected annually and serve three-year terms. Our board of directors prioritize the Society’s resources, ensuring wild sheep stay on the mountain while preserving our hunting heritage.
